Soft Pretzel Breadmaking Class
Join us for a Soft Pretzel Breadmaking Class at Drake’s Barrel House on Tuesday, January 20th, led by our friends at Grainbakers! In this hands-on, 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn how to mix, roll, and twist your own whole-grain pretzels using spent caramel malted brewer’s grain from our brewery. The Grainbakers team will walk you through their signature pretzel dough process and show you how to make a rich, cheesy pub dip that pairs perfectly with your freshly baked creations.
Each guest will leave with 4–6 hot, soft pretzels with a delcious chewy crust, recipe cards for Grainbakers’ signature pretzels, cheddar cheese dip, and mustard, plus a new dough cutter to keep baking at home. Expect plenty of fun, creative shaping with traditional twists or even pretzels shaped like turtles, snails, and octopus. Whether you take them home or enjoy them fresh with a cold beer, this Soft Pretzel Breadmaking Class is a delicious way to spend an evening.
